It’s amazing what a big difference a little food makes. We have really eaten only a very small amount yesterday, but still. This morning, we both felt good and Christophe had once again slept well. After a careful yoga and meditation, Christophe prepared a delicious smoothy of one banana, one apple, one pear, some spinach and a bit of powdered barley grass, topped off with a spoon of hemp seeds. Tasted like pure heaven. And I ate even slower than Christophe, which is a small miracle and thus worth mentioning 😉

We spent the morning working on all the little things that need tweaking in Ananda and went out at the end of the morning to buy some groceries and have a walk to enjoy the lovely spring weather. At the supermarket, we bought a big kohlrabi and a bunch of tulips. And that’s it, nothing else. And we’re not even going to eat the tulips.
Spring is in the air
Christophe drove us some kilometers out of Emsbüren, where we left the car at the beginning of a small side road and started walking. It was sunny and warm without wind, and a delight to be out of the apartment for a while. We followed the road, which soon turned into a path and ended in a field. So we turned around and went back to the car.

Broth with kohlrabi

At home, Christophe cut the kohlrabi into small pieces and added those, with a little extra water, to the broth from yesterday. I thought he had added peanut butter, because that was what it smelled like! It tasted delicious. We concluded the meal with a medjool date this time.
We spent the afternoon part working and part tidying the apartment. Christophe took pictures of every room and I created an ad on eBay in an attempt to find a new tenant.
Dinner consisted of the other half of the vegetables and rice from the day before, which, admittedly, tasted just a bit less heavenly than yesterday. We’ll continue eating like this for another 3 or 4 days before we will gradually start eating normal amounts again.
