Meeting our accountant and exploring London - Just Go Pink!

Meeting our accountant and exploring London

Just Go Pink flag

When we incorporated our business Just Go Pink! LLP through 1st Choice Formations, we were given the choice to be introduced to a London accountant. Since we know nothing much here in London, and a 1-hour free consultation was included in the offer, we said yes to it.

Shortly after the incorporation of our business, we were contacted by Tally accountants. We were informed that we could have our 1-hour free consultation either by phone or in person. Knowing that we were going to be in London, we opted for the second possibility and made an appointment for today, at 2 o’clock.

We took the underground to Ruislip and walked the 10 minutes to the Tally office. It’s in an urban neighbourhood with houses with gardens rather than office buildings, as one might expect. And their office is on the second floor of a rather inconspicuous building with a narrow staircase leading up to a room with a big meeting table and a desk.

To be honest, as we mounted the stairs and entered the room, we were a bit hesitant as to where this was leading to. However, we were met by Sam Simon and he immediately put all our doubts to rest. He’s an extremely amiable man with a very high social IQ, and he seems to know his trade. We had sent him our business plan in advance, and he had read it and was quite excited about Ananda. Furthermore, he’s no stranger to the Ayurveda, which made the conversation so much easier.

He made us a very reasonable and attractive offer, and we decided there and then to become clients of Tally accountants.

Satisfied with the meeting, we left and took the underground to the heart of London. We had an unsuccessful walk in at the bank followed by a very successful walk in at Starbucks. It was actually my first visit to Starbucks, but it sure tasted like more! 🙂

Having replenished our insides in all ways that matter, we hit the streets. We walked many miles, taking in all the sights.

Sometimes we took the underground for 1 or 2 stations (long live the Oyster Card!) so that we could A) warm up, and B) travel faster. Christophe took loads of pictures, and as it got later and later, we decided to eat out.

We ended up at Thai restaurant Suchard near London Bridge, where we ate a wonderful meal. Christophe had a coconut soup with mushrooms, tofu and ginger for starters while I had the vegetable spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce. We continued with vegetables with satay sauce (spicy peanut sauce) for Christophe, and vegetables with himmaparn (cashew nuts, pineapple and soy sauce) for me. To top it all off, we had banana fritters (me) and Coppola di chocolate (Christophe).
